About Us

After serving in the U.S. Army in 1986, Jim Fraker began working for Datamax Office Systems. Datamax is a company that sells and services copy machines and equipment and provides IT solutions.

At Datamax Office Systems, Jim gained tremendous experience in customer service and developed the skills necessary to handle major accounts like Anheuser-Busch, Ralston Purina, Southwestern Bell, Armstrong Teasdale and May Company. Jim started off as a service technician until he was promoted to assistant service manager. It wasn’t until 1996 that he began his very own in-home business as an outsource to other printers. He named his company Cost Less Color.

In 2003, he opened his first retail shop, Cost Less Copy Center, because he outgrew his home-based business and needed to expand. He was able to provide the best possible printing solutions to the customers in his local community thanks in part to his experience in servicing color and black and white printers.

Cost Less Copy Center has been in business, serving the people of the Metro-East area, for over 20 years. We have over 28 years of experience in the industry. Our biggest customers are other local printers, and they know they can trust us with their work. You can be sure we’ll handle your printing jobs with the same care.

Other printers have come and gone, but Cost Less Copy Center is still in business after all these years. We believe our perseverance through a tough market is a direct blessing from God. It shows that Godly principles like taking care of people, giving them a great product at a reasonable price, and offering excellent service; still attract the business of hard working people.
